Billy Graham Archive & Research Center

TDAG is proud to have been selected to honor the Rev. Billy Graham by digitizing and making accessible his legacy archive. In over 55 years of ministry, Billy Graham preached the Gospel message to more than 215 million people in over 185 countries. The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA), which he founded in 1950, continues to reach out to millions more each year.

Lovingly called “America’s Pastor,” Billy Graham traveled around the world speaking in stadiums filled to capacity and ministered to celebrities and world leaders. In doing so he met with 13 U.S. presidents, kings, queens, celebrities, and everyday men, women, and children.

BGEA broke ground November 9, 2020 on the Billy Graham Archive and Research Center. The center will a be first-rate research facility and will preserve the evangelist’s seven decades of written, audio, and video records to carry his legacy to new generations.

The archive collection includes over 1.2 million film images and a treasure trove of over 5 million pages of historical records, sermon manuscripts, correspondence, audio and video collections, publications and memorabilia.

TDAG has already started Phase One of the project, digitizing a wide variety of film including slides, 35mm, 120mm, panoramic as well as large and medium sized formats. We are using our 100MP Phase One digital back cameras, teamed with a proprietary workflow that enables our image technicians to produce over 7,500 digital images per day.
