Noah Hawley is an Emmy Award Winning American director, producer, and writer for television and film who created and wrote the FX television series Fargo and Legion. He is currently filming a new television series based on the Alien film franchise. And, oh, he has also penned six novels.
What most people don’t know is that Noah’s mother, Louise Armstrong was a non-fiction writer and activist. Her book, Kiss Daddy Goodnight, published by Pocket Books in 1978, is a groundbreaking work on incest. His maternal grandmother was a playwright. He has a twin brother, Alexi, who is also a successful writer and creator of television shows, including The Following and State of Affairs.
